Crazy fun and cookies

Yesterday we went to a new indoor play place out here in Hillsboro called Out of this world pizza. We went with a mama from our neighborhood and her 3 boys. Killian is in the same 1st grade class as her oldest son, and they are pretty much inseparable. Lucky for us, they only live 4 houses down the street. Especially lucky is that the mama and I have a lot of the same views on parenting. They are from Austria, where co-sleeping, extended breastfeeding, and AP parenting is more the norm. She is due with her 4th boy this summer, and since they always spend the summers in Austria and Italy (I know...the poor thing) she will be having her baby over there too! The big boys play together outside pretty much every day, but this was our first time taking them somewhere together. They had a BLAST! We stayed for 2.5 hours, which is enough time to guarantee a quick and painless bedtime :)
The sweaty boys:

Rock Climbing:

Car racing:

The SUPER slide!!

And the only shot I could get of Rowan, since she was sitting in my lap almost the entire time:

After we left there, we came home and had a quick dinner, and then we were on to more important things. Like chocolate chip cookies! I had a great little helper:

Quality control:

They passed the test, so in they went.

The final product:

And what might the males of the house been doing while us girls slaved away in the kitchen? Well, Lego Star Wars of course!

The boys did help us EAT the cookies though! ;)
