On Thursday we went to Aimees house for breakfast and play time for the kids. When we were at home, getting ready to go, Rowan picked out a winter glove from her dresser, and insisted on wearing it. It was her "hand shaking glove". Who could say no to this?
She politely shook hands with Aimee when we got there, and wore her glove until breakfast time, when she took it off after realizing it was too hard to eat syrupy pancakes with it on! After we ate, the kids headed outside for some painting. They started off neatly using paint brushes:
But they quickly realized that fingers and chaos would be much more fun:
Then of course, we had to get the hose out to wash their hands off, and there began the slippery slide....

Killian also found a little salamander:
After we washed them off again, and got mud out of all the places mud should never be we headed home where Killian got out his new balloon twisting kit, and made all sorts of swords and hats for him and Rowan. He is really pretty good at it!
You might notice Row is naked in a lot of these pictures....she is having great success learning how to use the potty!!! Today will be day #4 of just wearing undies, and she hasn't had any accidents at all! Go ROWAN! :)
