This is the weather forecast for the Portland Metro area this week:
A few noteworthy things:
1) Its supposed to snow tomorrow. On the valley floor. Which is where we live, where we hardly ever get snow. We got a light dusting last year, but before that the last time we got snow that amounted to anything interesting was in 2002. That's a long 6 years with no snow days.
2) Not only is it supposed to snow, but look at freaking cold its going to be. It wont be above freezing all week, and a low of 15 degrees? That seems a little extreme...
3) It might snow again on Thursday! This is practically unheard of around here, and I am in between extreme glee, because I love the snow, and extreme fear, because being an Oregonian I drive/play/exist better in the rain than in the snow.
Now hopefully the weather men know what they are talking about, and my purchase of snow gear and cases of hot chocolate wont be for nothing!
