P.I.R.

Is Portland International Raceway, for those not in the know. Every year Comcast (and some other less important companies) sponsor "The largest holiday light show west of the Mississippi" at the racetrack. There are over 250 light displays, a bunch of animated scenes, and they even let you borrow a CD of Christmas music to listen to while you drive through the lights. Since Matthew works for Comcast, we got ourselves a free pass. Pretty cool stuff. The best part for the kids? Not the lights, not the music...it was riding in the backseat with no seat belts on!

Rowan was absolutely beside herself and kept poking her head into the front seat to say "Hi". Just because she could. Killian was a little more reserved about the whole thing, but I think he liked it. He was very disappointed that we were going to a race track, but couldn't drive fast. Boys!

Here are the pictures we took*:

*Yes, I know they are crappy quality. The camera we have now is a Canon and while its a nice camera, it has its many flaws. The more I try to do with it, the more I realize I hate it. A camera is first on my list at tax time, so Matthews 47" TV and surround sound are going to have to be bumped down the list. I am sure he will understand ;)
