It was my nephews birthday on Friday and on Saturday he had a bowling and pizza party. The kids had such a great time! Rowan has never been bowling, and Killian hasn't been in a good 4 years or so. Its weird because both Matthew and I enjoy bowling (I used to work at a bowling alley for goodness sake!) but its just one of those things we never end up doing. For the first hour they did "Cosmic Bowling" where they have the lights off and the disco balls twirling. Then they did an hour of regular bowling. The big kids did fine bowling by themselves, although their techniques were pretty amusing. Rowan needed a little more help, and the bigger boys were happy to help. Rowan ended up having the second highest score!! Matthew and I were chatting up a dad at the park the other day, and he mentioned that there is a great bowling alley right here in town that has family nights were everyone bowls for 4 bucks a game, shoes included. We are making plans to check it out in the next few weeks, I think Killian could really get into bowling if we went more. He even conned Matthew into watching bowling on TV the day after the party!
