A couple months ago Killian started talking about a book he wanted that he had read at school. He said it was called Junie B Balone, or maybe just Junie Balone...he wasn't sure. I searched online and the closest thing I could find was Junie B Jones:
I bought him 3 of her books from the scholastic sale, and was quite pleased with myself for deciphering what he wanted. On Christmas day though, he wasn't very impressed and informed me that these were not the books he was talking about. I was stumped, but figured we could look for Junie Balone next time we were at Powells. Today we made an impromptu trip to Goodwill on our way home from school. We stopped and looked at the books, and when I pulled this one of the shelf:
Killian almost fell over with excitement. "That's it Mom! That's the book I wanted! That's the Junie Balone book!! YAYAYAYAYA!!"

Who would have guessed? I am glad the mystery is solved, and now we have new books on our list for when we exchange the Junie B Jones book at Powell's.
