The chicks are getting too big for Killian to hold with one hand, so lately we have been taking them out of their tote and holding them on our laps. We actually don't really need to "hold" them, we usually just keep a hand in front of their chest and and pet them with the other hand, and they seem content and don't try to escape. Killian has a way with them though, nearly every time he holds one, they take a little chicky nap on his lap. It starts with a little petting:

Isn't that the cutest thing ever? Killian is really enjoying the chicks, probably as much as I am. Every night we sit together and take each one out for awhile, and then we feed the chicks their favorite treat ever....peas! Its so cute to watch them tear around and try to steal and gobble the peas up before anyone else can. They have such cute personalities.
