We interrupt your regularly scheduled programing...

I realized today that every post I have written since last month is about me being sick. Narcissism anyone?! So I thought it was about time to talk about something else, and what better subject than my two little cuties? I have a few pictures I took before surgery, and then some that Mike and Kami took while they were watching the kids. First up, this is what happens when you give Rowan an ice cream cone:

Notice that we were prepared and had an old white t-shirt of Killian's on her, and a towel underneath. She still needed a bath after though! A cute side note...whenever she is going to do something dirty, I try to put one of these shirts on her to spare her nice clothes from getting ruined. She ALWAYS wears one for dinner if we are having spaghetti. A few days before I went into the hospital, we saw some white t-shirts for sale. She said "Look mama - a shirt to wear when you eat spaghetti"! I thought it was so cute that she thought that's the only reason for having a white shirt!

Here is another funny one of Rowan. I think the cat has been messing with Matthews lamp on his nightstand, and one day the shade just fell off. Matthew wore the shade as a hat one morning to wake Killian up (just to be goofy), and Rowan quickly got in on the fun:

These are from after I got home. The kids were really sick, and spent a couple days laying in the living room on their mattresses watching movies and sleeping on and off all day. Rowan has never been able to fall asleep on her own, so when she does, I know she is really not feeling good. I walked into the room and found her like this:

About a week after I got out of the hospital, it was a really sunny day and I was feeling strong enough to move outside and sit in a chair to watch the kids play. Aimee and family gave Rowan an awesome bubble set for her birthday, and it was the perfect day to break it out, the kids (and daddy) had so much fun:

Here are the pictures Mike and Kami took. The day I had surgery they stayed with the kids all day, and also had their daughter Sophia for the weekend. The kids made English muffin pizza's for dinner, and Matthew said they LOVED it. I am going to have to pick up the supplies for these because the kids have been asking for them again:

On Saturday, they took all the little monkeys to the Zoo. We haven't been since Zoolights, and we haven't gone to actually see animals in a long time, so the kids were pretty excited about the day:

Look at all these cute smiles...you can totally tell these kids are related!

Rowan and Aunt Kami got a little baking in...Valentines Day brownies with pink frosting...oh how I wish I would have been home to help eat these!

Killian and Sophia had a lot of fun together, or so I heard. Here they are climbing the tree out front:

They also got to go see Coraline together with Mike and Kami on Sunday. I love this picture of them in their funky 3D glasses!

These cracked me up....Kami has a gift for capturing the goofy faces my kids make!
