I picked up this cute little basket at the craft store the other day to bring our veggies in from the garden. We have been using kitchen bowls, but they are getting too small as we are getting more and more veggies every day! Tonight we went and picked all of this from the garden:
There are 15 lemon cucumbers, 1 purple pepper, 1 orange tomato, 3 roma tomatoes, 5 regular tomatoes, 5 jalapenos and 79 - yes, 79 cherry tomatoes. I realized that I have been grossly underestimating the amount of cherry tomatoes we have been getting. Usually I just glance at the bowl and estimate how many there are to add to my tally of garden veggies harvested. I did that last night, and thought it to be about 30. Matthew wanted to count so we did and ended up at 79!! So even though it says 200 right now, I bet we have harvested at least 300, and the plants are loaded with more fruits and flowers. Good thing we never get tired of them!
