Its the beginning of October, and around here, that means its time to decorate for Halloween! We actually started the last few days of September, it was just too hard to wait any longer. Our decorations are certainly getting us in the mood for the Halloween! We have the mantle lit up:

And the dining room dressed up a bit too. The table cloth was a great idea from Jessica, its just a plain inexpensive orange tablecloth underneath, with 2 yards of spiderweb fabric I got at Jo-Annes on top. It looks really nice!

We have lights outside too! This year we added little skeleton heads that light up along the walkway, the kids really love them:

You can see the skeletons better in this picture of the kids that they insisted I take. They are so silly with their "rock on" signs!

We are really enjoying all that this month has to offer. The weather has been beautiful, and we are trying to spend a lot of time outside enjoying it. This weekend we are going for a long country drive to check out the changing leaves, and we have the pumpkin patch coming up soon which is always my favorite. Mike and Kami will be here for a visit later this month, and we are all very excited to spend our favorite time of year with them. We are planning a Halloween party that weekend, and have lots of fun craft and baking dates planned with friends. Its no wonder I love this time of year, there are so many fun things to look forward to! I wish it could be fall all year long....
