I try to do learning workbooks with Rowan every day, and she is really making a lot of progress. She can fly through the thinking skills and math workbooks, sometimes we will even finish a whole book in one setting! She would do workbooks all day long every day if we had the time. She has been able to write her name for close to a year now, but other numbers and letters have been a challenge. She has struggled with holding her pencil the right way, and forming the numbers and letters. Sometimes it feels like we aren't making any progress, but when she did this worksheet the other day, I knew we were getting somewhere! She wrote all these numbers completely on her own, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how well she did.

A lot of people have asked why we are not going to be sending her to preschool, and I think this makes the answer pretty clear - she doesn't need it! She has social interactions and friends that she plays with nearly every day, and she is already ahead of where she should be as far as learning goes. I am really proud of how fast she is picking things up, and am excited to see how much more progress she will make over the next year.
