A tradition for our family is to go out to the Portland International Raceway every December, where they have hundreds of light displays and animated Christmas scenes. Cars dim their headlights, and drive through the racetrack, everyone ooohing and aaahing over the beautiful lights. The kids love it, mostly because they can be unbuckled in the car :) I took all these pictures - tricky since I was also the one driving, so some of them are a bit blurry. This is the twelve days of Christmas....PIR style!
On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...a partridge in a pear tree:
