Tonight Killian and I went to see a high school production of Seussical the Musical. My friend Sarah's daughter had a part in the play, and she had invited us to come see her perform. I decided that just Killian and I would go, because we don't get to spend a lot of one on one time together, and I thought he was at an age to better appreciate a musical play. I am so glad we got to go! The show was really fun to watch, and I was amazed at how well some of the kids (6th - 12th grades) sang and acted. They did a really great job!
There were no pictures allowed during the play, but Sarah's daughter introduced us to some of the cast when the show was over. The kids with The Cat in the Hat:
The play was loosely based on Horton Hears a Who - these were the Haversham brother monkeys, and they were probably both of our favorites (besides our friends daughter of course)! They jumped and danced all around the stage - very entertaining!
Killian and I both had a wonderful time, and I am so happy that we were able to join Sarah tonight, and see her daughter in her first play. Who knows, maybe in a few years we will be having her join us to watch Killian up on stage!
