We did it - our back fence is now finished! First, a few before pictures of our old raggedy little back fence:
As you can see, the old fence was one of those "good neighbor" fences...which I completely hate! I want total privacy, so I don't have to see my neighbors if I don't want to and so they cant be peeking in on us either. So when we were planning the new fence, we made sure to get enough wood to make it a privacy fence...and its two feet taller than the old fence too!! Look how pretty it is:
Every time I walk out into the backyard, I see it and smile. It was a lot of work, but a good learning experience as both Matthew and I put in a lot of labor and learned quite a bit about the process. Now that we have one project complete, we are jumping right into the next one:
It seems like all we have done lately is build fences...and we have two more to go after the one above is finished! We should really be pro's after this...anyone need a fence built?! ;)
