Get Cultured

I just signed up for my first online class, a series called "Get Cultured - How to ferment anything" from Jenny at Nourished Kitchen. I am SO excited for it, and cant wait to delve further into the world of fermentation and culturing! This class includes 52 online videos, 60 print tutorials, and over 100 recipes for naturally fermented foods, with lifetime access to all the information. The first two installments have covered cultured dairy - things like yogurt (4 different kinds), sour cream, cultured raw butter and buttermilk, and farmers cheese. This week the lesson is on making dairy kefir, and next week is kombucha and water kefir. Some of the other lessons that I am really looking forward to are how to make natural sodas and probiotic herbal tonics, naturally fermented condiments, fermented pickles and naturally cured meats. There is also a sourdough lesson at the very end which I am really looking forward to as well. I am looking forward to trying all these new foods and drinks, and sharing our experiments and experiences with you all!
