Ruger is growing up fast, and its becoming really obvious that he isn't going to be a little puppy for very much longer. A few weeks ago I noticed that some of the hair on his back was getting a little rougher, but I didn't think anything of it. Then just the other day I did a double take when I realized he had quite the stripe happening back there:
Its his big dog hair growing in! It certainly isnt as soft as his puppy hair, but he still looks just as handsome as he did before. I wonder if all his hair is going to grow in before or after his body catches up with his giant front paws and these spectacularly large ears:
Only time will tell I suppose...its fun to see our baby growing up!
