The weekend before Easter means that its time for our annual Easter egg hunt! We have had one every year since we moved to this house, and we all really look forward to it. We had a great turnout of friends this year, and the kids could hardly contain their excitement long enough for a picture:
We opened the back gate, and the egg hunt began! My niece Sophia found a keeper:
And Catie found a ladybug egg!
The playground was a popular egg hunting spot:
And even the littlest guy at the party found himself a few eggs:
After all the eggs were uncovered, the kids ran inside to crack them open and see what goodies they had found:
While the kids fueled their sugar highs, we had a great time hanging out with the adults in the relatively quiet kitchen. I love that we have such a great group of friends, people who's children get along well with ours and who's company we never grow tired of. It makes special events like an Easter egg hunt so much more fun!
