We had our annual ice cream social party today, to celebrate the last day of school and the beginning of summer vacation. I'm not sure what the kids were more excited about - the idea of seeing a bunch of their friends, or the thought of gorging on chocolate sauce and sprinkles!
I tortured the kids and made them pose for a group picture before we set them loose at the ice cream table:
They gathered on the lawn to enjoy their creations:
And then it was time for fun and games! I brought out the kids old parachute, and the group of them had a great time waving it up and down and running underneath it:
We have such a great group of kids, even with 13 of them running around with bellies full of sugar there were no fights or disagreements...just happy, happy fun!
The mama's had a great time too - I am so very blessed to have such a wonderful group of women in my life. Each of them has a special place in my heart, and bring so much joy and happiness to it. I don't know what I would do without them!!
