With a fridge bursting at the seams with strawberries, we decided to whip up some shortcakes, and stuff them with strawberries and cream. We had them for dessert tonight, and saved enough to have them again for breakfast tomorrow. There is absolutely nothing wrong with starting your day with dessert, at least not when it tastes this good!
And what better end to a lazy summer night than playing with fire?! With the 4th of July just around the corner, we are starting to see some small fireworks in the stores and the kids couldn't wait to bring some home and light them up:
