We couldn't stay away...we headed back to Kruger's farm tonight for another summer concert. To say that we were happy to be there is an understatement:
This time we were joined by my dear friend Angie, and her family. Rowan and her daughter Catie are the best of buds, and were joined at the hip for the rest of the night:
They had such a great time running around together:
And collapsing into silly, giggling heaps:
We ate a picnic dinner together, and tried to hold a conversation over the noise of the band. I don't know if we picked the wrong spot, or the speakers were just up really loud that night, but it was definitely hard to hear. It was still a lot of fun, and the place was packed as usual:
Before it got all the way dark, we took the kids over to check out the corn maze. We followed them through twists and turns until we finally came to a clearing in the center. Then it was shoes off, and running in circles time. I am so envious of the endless energy that kids seem to have!
It was a beautiful night out under the stars, enjoying the best company we could have asked for. This is exactly why we love these summer concerts so much, its always a great time and lots of fun. I can't possibly think of a better way to spend a summer evening.
