Summer Concert, Part 3

We're baaaaaaack. And this time we brought some friends:

It was another great night on the farm, with a yummy picnic dinner and sweet, wonderful company:

We hung out for hours waiting for the sun to go down, listening to a fantastic band, dancing our hearts out, drinking tasty beers, and eating freshly roasted corn on the cob. I will say it again and again; this place has the absolute best atmosphere for a warm summer night with people who's company you love!

Tonight there was a new event on the farm - fire dancers! My camera was dying by this point (more about that in a minute) so I just got a couple shots, but they turned out pretty cool:

This is my favorite, I think it looks like a butterfly:

And back to the dead camera. I couldn't figure out why the batteries had died so quickly, until I got home, uploaded the photos, and caught the culprits red handed:

Little stinkers. Just look at that grin! There were probably 60+ pictures just like the ones above - delighted children making funny faces, most of them too fuzzy to make out. Seems like they had a great night too! This was our last summer concert of the year, and it makes me sad that they are over. However, something tells me that our time at Kruger's isn't quite done for the year....stay tuned!!
