Tonight the kids and I took Jeanne to the cultural art center here in town for Family Art Night. The medium for the evening was clay, and the theme was animals. We each got a hunk of clay to work with and got busy creating our little creatures.
Rowan made a lion, and Jeanne crafted a little elephant:
Everyone was having so much fun sculpting and painting, and it makes me so happy that the kids have a grandparent-like figure in their lives that they can do things like this with.

We will pick up our clay creations in a couple weeks...I cant wait to see how they turn out!
