Sugar is almost 5 months old, and that means a couple things. One, she is getting cuter by the day, and two, she is teething like crazy. EVERYTHING goes into her mouth it seems! Luckily, she doesn't actually chew anything that doesn't belong to her (she just does a lot of retrieving...mostly socks) but to prevent bad habits from forming we try to keep lots of puppy friendly chewables coming her way. Her absolute favorite hands down is raw cow bones. We have asked for these the last few years that we have bought sides of beef from a local farm, and they are absolutely invaluable to have around for a teething puppy:

Oh raw bone...I think I love you!

Coming in a close second to the bones are sticks. It doesn't matter what size or shape, she loves them all and will happily chew on one for as long as she is allowed too. Luckily, we have no shortage of fallen sticks in our backyard, and we also happen to have a very convenient spot to chew them up:

The evidence is clear - a lot of stick chewing has been happening around here lately!
