We had Jeanne over for our yet another pre Christmas celebration today. Seems like we are doing quite a few of those this year! She had met the kids and I at our favorite local toy store a few weeks ago, and, well....lets just say she isn't that great about being sneaky as far as picking out presents goes. So the kids had a really good idea of what they would be getting from her, but they managed to look very surprised when they opened their gifts.
Rowan is really into Calico Critters this year, and Jeanne got her a super cute pony and stable set. She was so excited!
Killian spent a lot of time looking around the Playmobil section of the store, both him and Rowan are amassing quite the collection and love playing with them together. He had his eye on this ambulance set, and was excited to see that he got it!
Jeanne gets the same present from us every year - a photo album filled with pictures of all the fun adventures our family had that year. It seems boring but in truth its the only thing she really wants to get from us. Plus, its fun for me to put together because I get to relive all the good times to0. She seemed excited when she opened it, so I am pretty sure she liked it.
And just because, a picture of little Sugar being adorable cute. She is still the best present that any of us could have hoped to get!
