Tonight we took the kids to Storybook Lane out in Forest Grove. I had stumbled across the information about it doing on online search for holiday activities in our area. I had never heard of it before, but the article said its only open every other year and since this was the year they were open, I figured we better go check it out.
Storybook lane is made up of wood cutouts of, what else, popular kids storybook characters! There was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs:

Billy Goat Gruff:

Cinderella:

Alice in Wonderland:

Beauty and the Beast:

And Shrek, among others:

I don't know what I was expecting (maybe something more like Peacock Lane?) but it definitely wasn't this. It took us just a few minutes to walk through, and we were left thinking "Is this it"? It's definitely not something the kids or Matthew and I would be interested in going to again, we were really disappointed by the whole display. I am glad we went and checked it out though, its been fun searching for new events to add to our list of must see's for the holiday season!
