Matthew had to work again today, and some huge storms have rolled in, making it super rainy and yucky outside. Reminds me of home ;) The kids and I had planned on checking out some more parks today, but with this weather that's not an option. I think we are all a little exhausted too - we have been go, go, go all week, and its wearing us down a bit. So we decided to stay home today, watch movies and just relax.
And then, disaster struck! Rowan picked up Foxy to play with him, and his whole backside was open with stuffing falling out. The place where they stitched him up had come undone, and Rowan was beside herself. Friends of mine on Facebook assured me that this is not normal (I was questioning the quality of Build a Bears - she has only had Foxy for a couple days!) so we headed back to the Mall of America for a little emergency surgery. They were able to fix Foxy right up, and while we were there, Rowan absolutely had to buy a little friend for him. Her mom is a total sucker. She got a miniature version of Foxy, and named him Cream Puff. Awwww. It was love at first squeeze. And we couldn't leave the mall without something for Killian too, so we made another stop at the Lego store before heading for home. His mom is a total sucker too. :)
That's it for today though! Our one big adventure, and I have to say, after three trips there, the Mall of America is starting to lose its excitement. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will be off on new adventures tomorrow.
