Today was a rare sunny day in a month of rain, rain, and you guessed it, more rain. We took the opportunity to run over to Rood Bridge before the sunshine could change its mind and the clouds could return. The kids and Sugar were pleased as punch to be out frolicking at the park. My boy and his puppy:

She is quick, and moved in for a kiss faster than Killian could react (but not faster than my picture taking finger)!

After the kids played on the playground for a while, we took off for a walk through the woods. Imagine our surprise when the path came to an abrupt end! I didn't realize the extend of the flooding that was happening there - this whole area is normally grassy with a path running straight through the middle. Not today! I wasn't kidding about it being a month full of rain!

The water was pretty fascinating for kids and puppy, and we stayed her for a while, tossing rocks and poking with sticks. When the interest wore off, we headed off for the front of the park again. Rowan and Matthew got ahead of us, so Killian and I took our time and stopped to snap a couple pictures. I can't believe how big my boy is getting!

And he is funny...so funny. He constantly has me laughing, sharing hilarious stories, songs and just being goofy. I have such a great time with him, and love watching him grow up!

And my little Rowan. Also growing up so fast, but yet still my sweet baby girl.
How did I get so lucky to have not one, but TWO amazing children? I am grateful for them each and every day.
