Yesterday we spent the day at the mountain, and today we are spending it at the beach! I love that we have so many choices for outdoor fun in Oregon - within an hour or two from our house, we have mountains, the ocean, rivers, waterfalls, and deserts to choose from. Matthew and Rowan absolutely love the beach (Rowan is a total water/beach baby!), while Killian and I are more forest people. Lucky for us, we have lots of both close by, so everyone wins!

I can't count how many pictures I have of Rowan, starting from when she was a little girl, standing in front of the ocean in this exact same pose. She is such a happy and joyful little soul!

Another wonderful day of summer memories has been made, and there is no one that I would rather have made them with than three people. Sandy, soaking wet and silly to the core - I love them!
