Its our last weekend before school starts, and we wanted to get out and do something fun with the kids and Sugar, so we packed everyone up and headed out to Sauvie's Island. It's hard to tell who had more fun - the kids who were throwing sticks for Sugar and building sandcastles, or Sugar who was swimming in the river and retrieving the sticks (two of her most favorite things) and knocking over the kids newly build sandcastles!
It's going to be hard to go back to school and schedules and leave behind long summer days like this spent in the water and sand. At least we have all the great memories we have made this year to look back upon!
